Distinctive features and characteristics of the thermohousing:
Modification designed for outdoor conditions and high protection degree
The thermohousing TVK-07-O-N maintains stable operation within a wide range of temperatures from -60 to +50 °C (modification "ARKTIKA" extends this range from -70 to +50 °C). In case of power supply failures, the “cold start” option monitores ambient temperature and when necessary provides prestart heating of the internal space and the sight glass of the thermohousing. Airtight stainless steel body of TVK-07-O-N provides atmospheric corrosion resistance and reliable protection of the installed camera against external atmospheric impacts (dust, water) in accordance with the standard IP66 and IP67
Internal system of gradual heating
One of the unique advantages of thethermohousing TVK-07-O-N is the availability of gradual heating system. This provides not only operability of the camera installed inside under extreme weather conditions from -60 to +50 °C but also allows cutting power consumptions costs due to efficient use of electric power during heating up. Separate heating up of the sight glass will protect it agains snow build-up and the thermohousing - from condensation of moisture.

For reference
The maximum current consumption of 3.3A is indicated for extreme opering conditions at ambient temperatures below -20°С (up to -60°С); it is necessary for heating of the interior space of TVK-07-O and the sight glass. At an ambient temperature equal to -20°С or, current consumption of TVK-07 does not exceed 0.8A, including the surveillance video camera’s current consumption.
